Annual Garden Party

On Friday 23rd of June everyone finally uncrossed their fingers, as the weather defied the experts and stayed dry for our Annual Garden Party!

The whole community supported our yearly event of eating cakes and buns, while having a good gossip and lots of fun on the field!

As usual, face painting was very popular so Mrs Binns and Mrs Batters were very busy!	The children had great fun making models out of our Giant Meccano set- their favourite was a huge slide!	Mr Torpey and the girls played valiantly during an exciting game of football, but were eventually beaten by the boys!
Parents and friends of the school found time to relax!	The coconut buns went down a treat!	'The Barmby Babes' and our New Starters joined in the fun too!
Mr Walker, our Vice Chair of Governors, worked hard to make the afternoon run smoothly.	Young and old, had a splashing time in the water tray!	Mr Myers took the opportunity to talk to parents about future plans for the school (and England's chances in the World Cup!)
