Healthy Schools Celebration Evening

Last year, the Key Stage 2 class enjoyed making animal shelters as part of our DT unit. We took the finished products down to the Barmby Barrage to help our local environment. Our bird and bat boxes went down a treat! |

In January last year, Mrs Coxen helped the Key Stage 2 class solve mathematical problems with her giant pyramid kit! It was great fun! |

Our themed week about China was very interesting. Children learnt about the Willow Pattern story, Chinese food and the Great Wall of China. They were very surprised when a real dragon turned up! |

What a great way to learn about France! Last year, a traditional French breakfast was enjoyed by the whole school and helped us learn lots of French vocabulary. |

Our Healthy Schools Day was a huge hit! As well as making and eating fruity smoothies, the whole school enjoyed taking part in lots of physical activities. As you can see, children in Key Stage 1 loved following Miss Wilson's aerobic workout! |

In December our Carol service at the Chapel was enjoyed by lots of members of the community. It was lovely to see so many parents and friends of the school enjoying our festive celebrations. |
