Welcome to Barmby on the Marsh Primary School. Our school has a unique family atmosphere were every child’s security, happiness and attainment really does matter. I hope you enjoy your virtual tour of our small, exemplary and unique school.

Success at Barmby is a way of life. The Local Authority assessment of the school is: successful, exemplary and effective. Building on the attainment of the Basic Skills Quality Mark we have taken a holistic approach and gained the Healthy schools award. We develop our effectiveness by utilizing expert provision in science, art, PE and English. We have invested in buildings, IT equipment and secured considerable investment for a multi sensory garden. Measures of our success are evident in KS2 attainment. Every child exceeded national expectation for 11 year olds this year. In English and science 70%, whilst in mathematics 40% achieved the highest grades possible, outstanding results! An increasing number of children on roll is further testament to our success. What remains as the most important measure of success however is the well being, satisfaction and development of children as individuals, in a happy creative community.
